Frankenmuth Brewery Announces Transition to Full Brewpub, Expands Beverage Offerings with Premium Liquor Selection

FRANKENMUTH, MI. — Frankenmuth Brewery, one of Michigan’s oldest and most iconic craft beer destinations, has announced a major evolution in its concept—transitioning into a full-service brewpub while expanding its beverage program to include a curated selection of premium, name-brand liquors.

The move marks a strategic step forward for the historic brewery, blending its longstanding brewing tradition with a broader, more versatile guest experience.

“Converting to a brewpub lets us pair our house-brewed beers with an elevated food program, quality wines and classic cocktails,” said owner Haithem K. Sarafa. “Importantly, we’re expanding craft nonalcoholic beverages so everyone can enjoy thoughtfully made drinks in addition to our award-winning craft beers.”

Expanding Beyond Beer

While Frankenmuth Brewery will continue to produce its signature lineup of craft beers—including fan favorites and seasonal releases—the new brewpub model introduces a full bar program featuring recognizable, high-quality liquor brands.

Guests can expect:

• Classic and craft cocktails

• Premium spirits (bourbon, vodka, tequila, whiskey, and more)

• Zero proof “Craftails”

• Expanded wine offerings
