Get a taste of fall at the Frankenmuth Brewery with the new limited release of Pumpkin Chucker Ale – our take on liquid pumpkin pie.

Available for a limited time on draft at the Frankenmuth Brewery, Pumpkin Chucker Ale is burnt orange in color with subtle notes of ginger, allspice and cinnamon. This delicious pumpkin ale was brewed with fresh pumpkins from Johnson’s Giant Pumpkin Farm in Saginaw, and named after the farm’s famous giant pumpkin-throwing trebuchet.

The latest of Brewmaster Steve Buszka’s Michigan craft beer creations, Pumpkin Chucker Ale measures in at 7.3% ABV and 13 IBU. This limited release pumpkin ale is available on tap at the Frankenmuth Brewery along with select bars throughout the state. Perfect for the fall season and for Halloween, you’ll want to get your hands on a glass of this scary-good pumpkin ale.

Johnson’s Giant Pumpkin Farm in Saginaw played a big role in the creation of Pumpkin Chucker, as the brewery used freshly grown pumpkins from the farm for the ale’s sweet, pie-like flavor. Additionally, Pumpkin Chucker’s name is inspired by the massive pumpkin-throwing trebuchet at Johnson’s Giant Pumpkin Farm. Check out a video of the farm’s trebuchet below:

Pumpkin Chucker Ale is one of many fantastic Fall seasonal craft brews from the Frankenmuth Brewery. Along with the new pumpkin ale, Frankenmuth’s fall lineup features the rich, malty Oktoberfest Lager and the fresh hop-filled Harvest Ale. With the holiday season right around the corner, Frankenmuth’s flagship winter brew, Christmas Town Ale, will also be making a splash at the beginning of November.

To get your hands on a pint of Pumpkin Chucker and the rest of Frankenmuth’s fantastic fall craft beer lineup, visit the brewery this season. If you’re not in the area, Pumpkin Chucker will be distributed to select bars and restaurants throughout Michigan, so check out the Pumpkin Chucker on Untappd to find out where you can get a taste of this sweet seasonal brew.
